Tall case brass dial clock, ca. 1790-1800.

Cherry tall-case clock. The hood has a pagoda top with pierced fretwork, three turned urn-and-spire finials on plinths, a molded arch above the door, sidelights with astragal tops, rope-twist columns at the front corners, and a glazed door with an astragal top. Waist with cove molding at the top, rope-twist quarter columns at the front corners, and a case door with a shaped serpentine top. Base with cove molding at the top, and ogee molding at the bottom. Engraved dial with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, engraved c-scrolls and leaves in the spandrels and lunette, and the inscription "Daniel Burnap E Windsor" in the lunette surrounded by an engraved cartouche. Inside the chapter ring there is a seconds dial, a calendar aperture, and engraved foliate ornament. Eight day movement.
